Privacy Policy

Madcap Studio ("we", "our", or "us") builds Android games. This policy explains what data our apps handle, which third-party services they use, and what choices you have. It applies to all of our apps unless an app's store listing says otherwise.

We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email address, or location. We do not operate servers that receive your personal information.

Gameplay data such as high scores and settings is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Some of our apps use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show advertisements. The SDK may collect and share data such as your Android Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interaction events, and diagnostic information. This data is used for serving and measuring ads, analytics, and fraud prevention, and is handled by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Google Play Services may also collect usage and diagnostic data as part of normal Android operation.

If we add other third-party SDKs to an app (for example crash reporting or analytics), we will list them in this section before the update is released.

Apps that show ads may display personalised or non-personalised ads. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can opt out of personalised ads or reset your advertising ID in your device's Google settings under Ads.

Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. Data processed by Google through its ad services is controlled by Google, and you can exercise your rights regarding that data through your Google account settings or Google's privacy tools. If you are in the EEA, UK, or another region with data protection laws, you may also contact us with any questions about your rights.

Our games are intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age required in your country, if higher) and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@madcapstudio.com and we will take steps to address it promptly.

We do not store personal data on our systems, so there is none on our side that could be compromised. Game data stored on your device is protected by the security model of your Android installation. Data sent by third-party SDKs is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS).

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we release a new app or add a new third-party service. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please review this page periodically for changes.
